Shopping centre “Olimpia” has received the prestigious award in the “Best Shopping Centre” category at the prominent Baltic real estate industry event “Baltic Real Estate Awards 2025”. The award was granted in recognition of the successful reconstruction and sustainable development that have made “Olimpia” one of the most popular shopping destinations in Riga.
The centre is owned by the real estate fund “Indexo Real Estate Fund”, managed by “Provendi Asset Management AIFP”.
“This award is not just recognition, but a testament that “Olimpia” has become a notable success story on a Baltic scale. Acquiring “Olimpia” was a well-considered decision based on a clear long-term vision. We saw the unique potential of this property and deliberately worked to make the acquisition a reality – it is an honour to manage such a beloved shopping centre,” emphasized Kristaps Bērziņš, CEO of “Provendi Asset Management AIFP”.
Liene Apine, manager of the Olimpia shopping centre, emphasizes: “We greatly appreciate this recognition – it proves that our strategic approach and investments are yielding results. “Olimpia” is proof of how professional management and vision can transform a property into a beloved shopping destination. Following a major reconstruction, “Olimpia” has truly been reborn – it is no longer just a renovated building but a thoughtfully created environment with its own identity, attracting both shoppers and tenants. I am especially proud that during these changes we managed to significantly improve the interior quality, making the environment more modern and functional, while also implementing sustainable solutions – including energy-efficient lighting and a solar panel park that brings real benefits to both the shopping centre and the surrounding environment.”
Following a major reconstruction, “Olimpia” has become a popular outlet centre for sports and active lifestyle brands in Latvia, bringing together names like Nike Outlet, Adidas Factory Outlet, Puma Factory Outlet, Sportland Outlet, Sketchers Outlet, Trespass, Latswim and the largest Sports Direct in the Baltics. On 25,000 m², more than 60 tenants operate, including a modernized Rimi hypermarket, a 24/7 self-service fitness club Gym!, the family entertainment park Adventica, the largest beauty product store in the Baltics – Tradehouse, and a large dining area with 10 cafes.
